At SW Herts u3a, we live by the motto: Learn, Laugh, Live. We’re a vibrant, non-political, non-religious organisation offering opportunities to stay active, connect with new people, and enjoy the adventure of lifelong learning after full-time work.

Our interest groups are all run by members, for members—there’s something for everyone. From walking (including exploring London) to languages, swimming, singing, gardening, local history, science and technology, lunch clubs, and more, our activities cover a wide range of passions and pastimes.

SW Herts u3a is entirely self-financed and run by volunteers—no one is paid.

People join us for all sorts of reasons—some for the groups, some for the speakers, some for the travel, and many just for the joy of companionship.

Whatever brings you through our doors, you’ll be warmly welcomed.

But above all, we’re a place to make friends. We’d love to meet you—come and join us!
