Explore London Places:    To explore various places in London

We normally meet at a pre-arranged place in London and set out to explore museums, buildings and localities of historical, cultural, architectural or aesthetic importance. Walking will be minimised but normally under two miles.  Normally we will use a form of public transport to reach our destination, but occasionally we may hire a coach or use shared cars to reach places which are difficult to access.  We will only use paid professional guides where this is a requirement for the location to be visited, otherwise these outings are member led.  Many places to be visited may charge entrance fees and require advance booking for restricted numbers.  The group from time to time will organise access to one-off events in London of cultural significance.
